In April 2020, CYPC completed the acquisition of the Peru's largest electricity distribution company, LDS. It represents a new starting point for CYPC to open up its overseas distribution assets and puts it on track to become a future global energy giant with integrated capabilities of power generation, distribution and sales. In May 2020, leveraging the platform of Chongqing Three Gorges Water Conservancy and Electric Power Co., Ltd., CYPC completed the overall listing of three local idle distribution networks in Wanzhou, Fuling and Qianjiang districts of Chongqing and power distribution & sales business in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. CYPC has synchronized its efforts to prioritize and expand electricity sales operations in provinces and municipalities that serve as key consumers of its large-scale hydropower. In 2024, the Company achieved market-oriented electricity sales exceeding 5 billion kWh, cumulatively facilitate the trading of 224,000 green certificates, and complete cross-provincial green power transactions totaling 177 GWh from regions such as Shanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang to Shanghai. These initiatives have established inter-regional trading channels, enabling synergistic development between market-driven electricity sales and large-scale hydropower operations
